Estelar began as a handful of modular letterforms sketched for a brand identity project in the studio, letters drawn to interlock, exactly as that project demanded. Those few characters asked to become something bigger. Developed during Plau's FontePro course, Estelar became the first typeface released by Zanon Type Foundry.

The name came after many rounds of sketching. Estelar is futuristic and technological, but never abandons typographic craft: a subtle calligraphic touch gives it warmth and personality. It's a variable font built for brands rooted in technology and precision and for designers who won't compromise on how a typeface is drawn. It performs at its best in logos, impactful headlines, packaging and websites.

It features variable weight and slant axes, plus 16 styles: Thin to ExtraBold, each with a matching Slant. 400 glyphs supporting 95 languages.
